DeKalb High School of Technology - South Cosmetology and Barbering students provide community service at Glenwood Nursing Home.

Students in the Cosmetology and Barbering programs at DeKalb High School of Technology - South provided community service during the holiday season by pampering senior adults from the Glenwood Nursing Home.The seniors received haircuts, styling, manicures, and pedicures from students under the direction of their licensed cosmetology and barbering instructors, Sylvia Sims, Stephanie Simmons and Renee Breedlove. The instructors coordinated the activity with the Nursing Home staff where students provided complimentary services. The students received a warm felt experience along with practice and the reward of doing something wonderful for others.
